Bzzing About COVERGIRL & Olay

Disclaimer:  I received this product and coupons free as part of the Covergirl & Olay as part of a BzzAgent Campaign.  The opinions expressed are my own.

My first days using the new COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder were encouraging.

I liked the coverage.  It wasn't heavy or mask-like.  And the powder didn't feel cakey on my face.  My skin could breath.  I liked the way it made my skin look and feel.  I thought this product could finally be the answer to the dullness and blotchiness I had been experiencing over the past few years.  I was excited about the product and started spreading the word to some family and friends.

The honeymoon continued until around day 20.  That's when I began breaking out.  A lot!  My chin had so many blemishes it looked like I was going through puberty.  My forehead was also breaking out.  And I even had a few blemishes in areas I never get them.

I was devastated.  I tried to find other explanations.  But my skin care routine had not changed and I knew it wasn't likely to be hormones due to where I was in my monthly cycle.  The only thing that had changed was the makeup.

I stopped using the COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder and a week later, my skin is finally starting to clear up.

All in all, I think it was a good product.  The coverage is good without being heavy.  And it did make my skin feel nice.  It seems my skin just isn't ready for the amount of moisturizing available in this product.
