Autumn Inspired Crochet

It seems as if Mother Nature didn't get the memo, but it really Autumn.  Although all these 80 degree days keep trying to convince me otherwise.  To help get past the weather and get into cooler state of mind, I've put together a collection of ideas for some cute crochet projects with a Fall theme.

1)  Autumn here in the mountains of western North Carolina is all about the colorful display of the changing leaves.  Bring that color indoors when you create these beautiful chestnut leaf place mats.  Pattern by ABC Knitting Patterns.

2)  Leave the real acorns for the squirrels and chipmunks, while you craft this colorful acorn garland to bring the feeling of fall indoors.  Pattern by Yarnspirations.

3)   This Autumn Spice Mandala Doily is beautiful enough to leave out all year round! I can just imagine it in Christmas colors or beautiful shades to match your everyday decor.   Pattern by BellaCrochet

4)  During the fall,  the thoughts of little ones often turn to Halloween and trick or treating.  Hook up an adorable jack o'lantern bag for holding all the sweet treats!  Pattern by Sewrella

5)  If you're already thinking ahead to Thanksgiving, you can stuff this cute little turkey before you get around to stuffing yourself with the one you roast for dinner.   Pattern by 5 Little Monsters

What's your favorite part of Autumn?  Do you have any crochet projects planned as the weather cools?
