Pumpkin Syrup

Homemade Pumpkin Syrup - perfect for making pumpkin spice lattes!

Pumpkin Syrup

1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups granulated syrup
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon





Heat water and sugar over medium high heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently.
Add pumpkin puree and spices.  Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 to 7 minutes.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth.
Store in lidded container.  Refrigerate up to 2 months.

To make pumpkin latte: add 2 tablespoons syrup to coffee, along with cream and sweeten to taste.
