How's your July been going? Mine has been sort of a mixed bag. Some good. Some really good. Some not so good. Some... meh. You know. Pretty much a typical month.
Last weekend was my daughter's 28th birthday. It still feels a little surreal to me that I gave birth to someone who is now that age! It feels appropriate to bring that up, since her middle name is Noel. When she was born several hospital staff mentioned how unusual it was to have a baby with that name born in the summer. But I loved the name, especially as a middle name with the name we had selected for her first name. And she was a special gift, just like my own little bit of Christmas in July!
