Celtic Crochet

March always sets my mind to Spring, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day.  The shop is slowly filling with some fun Easter items I have created.  But we'll talk about that soon.  Today, in honor of St Patrick's day, I want to share some beautiful Celtic inspired crochet designs which I have come across recently.

If you're looking for a basic four leaf clover, check out this pattern from Quiet Raine Knits.  It would be adorable on a pin or barrette. Or use it as an appliqué on a tote bag or an article of clothing.

Pattern Available HERE

Another lovely piece is this Celtic Knot Bracelet by Jennifer E. Ryan.  I love this piece and might have to make one for myself before the 17th!

Pattern Available as a Free Ravelry Download HERE

While you're at it, she has a lot of gorgeous designs! Check out her blog at Celtic Knot Crochet.

For the tiniest of those who will be wearing the green, this Celtic Dream Bonnet is a must make.  I get a little bit of a grand baby craving every time I look at it!  Maybe I could convince the grand kid to wear it.  He's only 5.  No?  Too bad!  I mean, seriously...  does it get much cuter than this??

There are also matching beanie and cowl patterns for the older family members!

Or, you could make this beautiful Celtic Winter Cowl by Left in Knots as a little something special for yourself (or someone else)

Last, is this stunning shrug pattern (also by Jennifer E. Ryan!). I can just imagine a beautiful Celtic bride wearing it on her special day.

This is just a handful of the amazing patterns I found to inspire my creativity this March.
Which is your favorite?

Have a BEEautiful day,
